PROJECTS:

INTERIOR PLASTERING AND HISTORICAL RENOVATION

Restoration and Interior Plastering, San Francisco, CA.  The existing ceiling experienced water damage from a leaky roof.  Our company demolished the existing ceiling, and restored the plaster to exceed the original condition.  Here, a plasterer is applying the finishing touch by "wet toweling" the diamond finish to achieve a perfectly smooth and clean job.

Interior Fireplace, Gypsum Plaster and Cement Plaster, Walnut Creek, CA.  The designer specified a combination of Portland Cement Plaster (stucco) and gypsum plaster to create this dramatic affect on a fireplace in a custom home in Contra Costa County.  This photo shows the cement side of the fireplace.

Interior Veneer Plastering, Oakland, CA.  We were tasked with restoring apartments which were destroyed by a large fire in Oakland, CA.  In this example, the plasterers are applying a base coat of gypsum plaster over "blue board" before finishing.  The end result is a building restored to it's original condition before the fire.

Interior Veneer Plastering, Oakland, CA.  In this example, the textured ceiling and smooth wall finish is shown.  This project was extensive; over 15,000 square feet of interior plastering was applied on a tight schedule.  The finish specification called for textured ceilings and smooth walls.  The finish material specified was: Diamond Interior Finish Plaster by US Gypsum.  The final color was painted.
