Exterior Insulation Foam System (E.I.F.S.)
University of California, ACC Elevators, San Francisco. Plasterers applying acrylic plaster, Genesis by Dryvit, over exterior foam insulation. Exterior foam insulation provides superior "R" ratings; thus eliminating the need for insulating interior wall spaces. The plaster base is embedded with fiberglass meshing material for added wall strength. Here, the plasterer is applying the base coat during the meshing process.
